Update notes for Countryballs at War version full 0.4.

Resource trading, sending and requesting money & units from puppets, new units, new characters, many bug fixes, and gameplay changes.

Features

  • Added Resource Trading
  • Added the option to send units and gold to allies and puppets.
  • Added the option to request units and gold from puppets.
  • Added 3 new soundtracks.
  • Some units now will take between 1-3 turns to recruit.
  • Added Norway, Gran Colombia, and Uruguay.
  • Added 8 new units.
  • Added a new unit tree for Scandinavian countries.
  • Modified unit trees for some countries.
  • Added 2 new achievements.
  • The army of neighboring countries is now visible.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where Saxony would show up as Brazil in Conquest game mode.
  • Fixed a bug where some popups would show up late.
  • Fixed a bug where units would get duplicated after winning a battle.
  • Fixed a bug where Bhutan was misplaced in Napoleonic Wars campaign.
  • Fixed a bug where some battles wouldn’t end unless reloading the game.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes AI would join a fight without sending any units.
  • Fixed a bug where puppets would randomly join combat even though their superior didn’t join that battle.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes peace treaties would unexpectedly end.
  • Fixed a bug where the game would lag when switching game campaigns on the main menu.
  • Fixed various language translation errors.

Balancing

  • Nerfed Old Cannon’s upgrade stats.
  • Pirates now arrive with fully upgraded units on hard and nightmare difficulties.
  • Incremented overall game difficulty for normal and hard modes.
  • Increased unlock and upgrade costs.
  • AI now doesn’t constantly look for new allies if it already has enough.
  • In nightmare mode, puppet countries now start the game with less gold.

  1. there’s a bug on muskets and colonials where no matter what countries can not be puppeted
    meaning it’s impossible to win UNLESS the bug does a weird thing and a different country gets a puppet. Then you can invade them and take their puppet.

    • That would be great a 1939 timeline , and an option to sell or buy provinces. And may add a few other countries: like Algeria or something. May mission trees, and an option to build things like mines or factories. And also a few one said naval stuff.

  3. can you make like more CE1890?, like put armies, have a leader, customize army & leader, and CE1890 campaign but world scale?
    oh i forgor about naval that use oil. so there is more resources, like gold (idk to make bullet) and iron for ships and weaponary?

      I would like to request more immersive revolutions, what I mean is that instead of revolutions becoming unclaimed land, it becomes another country. For example, You are Russia and your happiness index drops to 0 or bellow. A region like Sakha (a republic inside Russia) gets independence and joins the enemy teams.

      I think this would add to the game and would make new campaigns more interesting, like a WW2 scenario (revolutions like this are for events like the Spanish civil war where Spain could start with low happiness).

  7. This update is so cool! One more feature that would make the game pretty much perfect is the ability to give and take land tiles from puppets, and to request to give and take land from allies, which much strengthen relations.

  8. Ho trovato un bug che non causa dei problemi ma c’è, ovvero ho trovato un bug che quando vado sull’icona “mondo” se clicco su una delle quattro opzioni “paesi, gradi, battaglie, trattati” la terza “battaglie” mette di nuovo le battaglie che ci sono:
    Per esempio se gli Usa attaccano il regno unito nell’opzione “mondo” se clicco su una delle quattro opzioni e poi su “battaglia” e ripeto la cosa, la seguente battaglia apparirà ripetuta più volte.

  9. There’s a bug where after a battle your enemy will become neutral. There’s another bug where the option for puppet would be X when you meet the requirements

  10. Please fix the fact that we cannot unlock saxonny because we can’t help a ally to capture a new territory now

    Also add naval battle and treaty for give or request land

  11. I love the new update,I have a suggestion though, could you add the ability to sell or buy territories and some new treaty functions(like asking for money, resources or land)

    Ps:fix the sound system, fighting SFX still play while everything else is muted

    0.5v | Vehicle and Naval Update
    New Vehicles. Example: Dynasty Theme Countries (Hwacha) And Viking/Winter Theme Countries (Longship/Longboat)
    New Battle Types: Water to Land Battles and Sea Battles.
    Add Ports
    New Diplomacy Ability: Give or Ask for Territory(ies) from or to Allies

  13. I think it would be better if we had peace treaties where we could ask for a certain amount of territory, money or materials
    I also think they should have a population tab where it appears: happiness population number and where the vast majority of the population live
    And they should speed the cannons by 4%, lower their life by 10%, lower the range by 2%, lower the price by 2% and increase the damage of the first attack by 5%

  14. I would like if you animator makes so if you take down a strong country like France,Japan,China,uk and USA you get coins in the game to purchase a country.

    And too make a navy,modern mode and more artilary thanks and I LOVE The game ALOT.

There should be naval battles and you could fight over control over the English Channel,The North Sea, The Black Sea, The Caspian Sea and the Carribean Sea and There would be Naval commanders, Admrials and Thats it going from I To II to III to IV to V To VI to VII To VIII To IX and Level X and ships from the 1600s to 1700s

    found a bug that doesn’t cause any problem but it exists, i.e. I found a bug that when I go to the “world” icon if I click on one of the four options “countries, ranks, battles, treaties” the third “battles” goes back to put the battles that are there:
    For example, if the United States attacks the United Kingdom in the “world” option, if I click on one of the four options and then on “battle” and repeat it, it will show the following battle repeated several times.
